Pastor Henry Lee Pace is the founder and Senior Pastor of Shalom Missionary Baptist Church. He is the chief overseer of both the spiritual well-being and business affairs of the church. As the primary spiritual authority, Pastor Pace has the responsibility of proclaiming God’s Word to the congregants; coordinating the ministry so that it effectively meets the spiritual, social and physical needs of members and the community; and communicating the vision of God for the church.
Pastor Pace accepted his call to preach and gave his initial sermon in April of 1982. He was ordained and served as pastor at the Prairie Grove Baptist Church in Tipton, Missouri for 2 ½ years. After hearing the call of God and with a vision to win the lost and make disciples of Christ, Pastor Pace founded the Shalom Missionary Baptist where he has served as Senior Pastor since 1987. He attended Midwestern Theological Baptist Seminary, where he earned a Masters Degree in Religious Education.
Pastor Pace is a man of both purpose and passion. His life passion is to maximize his commitment to Christ. His life focus is to model and communicate Christ in all places. His life gifts are teaching, preaching, and leading. Pastor Pace has used his God-given passion, focus, and gifts to serve Christ in both the local church and marriage ministries nationwide. Pastor Pace’s life partner is Deleria, and they have been blessed with 38 years of marriage. They are the proud parents of Stacey and Stephen, and grandparents to Camryn, Jillian & Jayla.
